I have been downloading MP3s lately. The two highlights of this process have been:
Tom Waits covering James Brown. Papa's Got a Brand New Bag, which means it's Tom Waits covering James Brown at his best. Sadly, the song is much cooler to think about than it is to listen to. It's not bad, but it's not the profoundly life-changing experience it promised to be.
An indie hip-hop song featuring Humpty Hump. Yeah, it's really Humpty. Includes the immortal line "If my parents get home, just tell 'em the Burger King story."
