It's a front
I like to pretend I'm a big geek. I can usually fake it. I mean, I know most science fiction. I've got a good background in computers. Very good with games. But it all falls apart pretty quickly under examination. I mean, I don't program. I only know a tiny enough amount of HTML to get links up on this page. My main problem solving technique with computers is to "fiddle with the properties until it works." This is not a bad technique, mind you. I have the confidence to do this, and it's often what's necessary. But I don't really know what I'm doing.
Anyway. The whole geek thing completely falls apart sometimes. Like now. When I can say that I just burned my first CD. Like, ever. 2003? More like 1993.
