Last night, someone mentioned Contra, and as a sort of geek-test, I asked if they knew the Konami code. The particular person didn't, but half the room, as soon as they heard those words, instantly repeated in unison "up-down-up-down-etc."
The power this has over the dorks of our generation is astounding!
