Monkeyface
So, last night, I brought up my Curious George is racist theory in company, and was once again looked at like I was crazy. I really don't understand. It seems so clear to me.
White man goes to Africa, gets a childish brown monkey, brings the brown monkey back, the brown monkey goes crazy and gets into all sorts of trouble without the white man around . . .
Eh? EH?
I think it's that I didn't read the books as a child, so I told have an emotional attachment to them.
Oh, and Babar? Totally classist.
