Bush? Catching On?
Quotes from this article caused a few jaws to drop around the office. I work next to two people who are working for Middle East Peace. My favorite part is when the Israeli Defense Minister says that the Palestinians have their own security force, and Bush snaps back that they really don't, the IDF destroyed them, remember? Now, given that the article source is an unknown "participant," there's the possibility that it might not have really happened this way. I lean towards believing it, though. I get the impression from Bush that he gets obsessions and doesn't let go. He did tax cuts. He did war in Iraq. And now he's doing Israel/Palestine peace, and he doesn't like people who get in his way.
